Welcome to the Mount Olivet Community Center, located in the beautiful mountains of Pulaski County, Virginia, in the heart of the New River Valley. Originally a one-room schoolhouse, the Community Center was established in 1968 to promote and encourage home, farm and community life. The Community Center hosts several events every year, including the annual Community Picnic, Halloween Happening and Easter Egg Hunt. Anyone can rent the building for alcohol-free family reunions, club outings, birthday parties, wedding receptions and more. The Community Center also manages and maintains the Hufford Cemetery, a small cemetery established by the Hufford Family. Community Center meetings are held the first Monday of every month at 7pm. All are welcome! In the event the first Monday is a holiday, meeting is postponed to the following Monday. In the event of inclement weather, meeting will be postponed to the following Monday if schools are closed or close early. If schools open late meeting will be held as scheduled.
